This superb print shows images detailing the historic progression and timeline of America's most unique muscle car - the Ford Mustang.

The Ford Mustang is an automobile manufactured by the Ford Motor Company. It was initially based on the platform of the second generation North American Ford Falcon, a compact car. Introduced early on April 17, 1964, and thus dubbed as a "1964 half" model by Mustang fans, the 1965 Mustang was the automaker's most successful launch since the Model A. The Mustang has undergone several transformations to its current fifth generation.

The Mustang created the "pony car" class of American automobiles - sports car-like coupes with long hoods and short rear decks-and gave rise to competitors such as Cherolet Camaro, and Pontiac Firebird, AMC Javelin, as well as Chrysler's revamped Plymouth Barracuda and he first generation Dodge Challenger. The MUstang is also credited for inspiring the designs of coupes such as the Toyota Celica and Ford Capri, which were imported to the United States.

The sixth generation Mustang was unveiled on December 5, 2013, in Dearborn, Michigan; New York, New York; Los Angeles, California; Barcelon, Spain; Shanghai, China; and Sydney, Australia.

Changes include widened bidy by 1.5 inches, 104 inches lower body, trapezoidal grille, and a 2075-inch lower deckild, as well as new colours. The passenger volume is increased to 84.5 cubic feet, and there are three engines: 2.3 L EcoBoost four-cyclinder, 3.7 L 305 hp V6, or 5.0 L Coyote V8, with either a Getrag six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters.

The Shelby is a higher performance variant of the Ford Mustang which was built by Shelby American from 1965 to 1967, and Shelby Automotive from 1968 to 1979. Following the introduction of the fifth generation Ford Mustang, the Shelby nameplate was revived in 2007 for new performance versions of the Mustang. The SHelby name comes from legendary designer Caroll Shelby, who lived from 1923 to 2012 and was intimately involved in the design of the highperformance Mustang variants so valuable today.
